The two clamping halves of this key turner enclose a flat metal head and enlarge the side gripping area. Set the rectangular pocket to the head width, length and thickness; an open neck channel lets the key blade project from the grip. Include any thin rubber liner in the chosen head thickness. Add two M3 screws and nuts through the 3.4 mm holes. The head and liner must resist turning within the grip without bending the key. Check that the chosen wing span has room to turn around the lock. For ordinary flat metal keys without an electronic housing; not for applying extra force to a jammed lock. It does not replace lock repair or a correctly fitting key. Adjustable values: Key-head width: 18–34 mm; Key-head length: 15–35 mm; Key-head thickness including liner: 1.5–5 mm; Width of the exiting key neck: 6–12 mm; Overall grip-wing span: 58–85 mm.
