Terms and Conditions
1. Liability / limitation of liability
Our services include, among other things, the production of components by means of 3D scanning and 3D printing according to the customer’s specifications. Liability for damage or malfunctions caused by improper use, incorrect installation or use not in accordance with the intended purpose is excluded to the extent permitted by law. In all other respects, BuildYour3D is liable only in accordance with statutory provisions.
2. Intellectual property (copyright, patent and trademark rights)
By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have all rights required to use, reproduce and manufacture the submitted models/files or the parts to be reproduced, and that the order does not infringe any third-party copyright, patent or trademark rights. The customer indemnifies BuildYour3D against all third-party claims arising from an infringement of intellectual property rights, including reasonable legal enforcement costs.
3. Exclusion of safety-critical parts
The production of safety-critical components is excluded. This applies in particular to components for vehicles, medical devices or safety-critical machines/applications.
4. Uploaded files / customer models
Files provided by the customer (e.g. STL/3MF/OBJ/GLB) are not legally reviewed by BuildYour3D. A technical plausibility check (e.g. printability) may be carried out in individual cases, but is not owed. BuildYour3D reserves the right to reject orders or ask follow-up questions in case of legal or technical concerns.
5. Custom-made products (no right of withdrawal)
Because these are products individually manufactured according to customer specifications, there is no right of withdrawal pursuant to Section 312g (2) No. 1 BGB.
