This seed roller is intended for your own slow, hand-driven seeder. A row of round pockets carries seed from a suitable hopper towards the outlet. Measure the roller space and hexagonal shaft; the bore adds 0.25 mm across flats. Pocket count and drive ratio together influence the spacing between seeds. Choose pocket diameter and depth using several seeds from the same batch. Each pocket should accept a seed loosely without leaving it above the running surface. The hopper, brush or wiper, shaft and drive are separate components. Remove burrs and try feeding a small quantity by hand first. No particular germination rate or guaranteed single-seed delivery is claimed.
