Upload an additional STL, position it and join it to the existing model.

A simple example

A ring-shaped attachment is available as a separate STL. You want to attach it to a plate and unite both into one connected model.

Step by step

1. Load the base model and open Add.
2. Choose the STL option and upload the attachment file.
3. Select an area on the base. Move, rotate and size the attachment in the preview.
4. Ensure the solids overlap. Inspect the calculated union and apply.

What to check

The added file should contain a closed volume. Loose components or missing contact can prevent the union. Two models placed beside each other are not yet one connected part.

Preview and save

A preview is not a saved change. Wait for the checked result and choose Apply. If the button is disabled, read the message and check the selection or inputs. The offered STL download is paid; you will see the current price before purchase.
